Bridal Photography | Wedding Dress Stansted Mountfitchet
Professional wedding photography, natural light photography in Essex, Hertfordshire and London.
Kirsty wanted to have her own photoshoot at home and make use of her wedding dress Stansted Mountfitchet. The wedding dress is made by Justin Alexander which she saw in Harlow whilst visiting recently.
The sparkles and the white/silver design caught her eye and she decided this is the one and eventually managed to purchase it. Although the dress is heavy to wear it complimented her vision as she wanted something a bit vintage but mostly because it reminded her of an old childhood movie called; “The Labyrinth”
In the movie the Labyrinth there is a slow dance scene in a 17th century masquerade ballroom with actress Jennifer Connelly (Sarah) and the late artist/singer & actor David Bowie (Jareth). Sarah is wearing whats been commonly called “The Labyrinth Ball Gown” and from past experience this scene has influenced many weddings of my generation and I to have attended one myself. The first dance at the time was David Bowie’s – As the world falls down.
So below is a little bit of what we did late in the afternoon, a sort of bridal photography session but nothing serious just playing.
Techy Nerd Stuff: For photographers out there that are interested in the technical side of things for lighting I was giving my high power flashes a break this time and decided to use Canons speedlites only. So armed with one Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT MKii and three Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT MKi’s I put them through their paces in manual.
