Manor of Groves Wedding Photography | The Manor of Groves is an incredibly pretty wedding venue & hotel located in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. I have been looking forward to capturing some amazing wedding photography for Phil & Martha at their chosen venue. After 15hours of hard work I have managed to put into this post the highlights of the day and night. Martha and Phil could not have picked a better day and wedding venue for their special day and myself and my team met with the bride and groom in their preparation rooms at the beginning of the day.

After finding their rooms we split into two teams. Myself and the videographer with Martha and Stuart and Jack stayed with the Grooms party. Already hard at work was the makeup team lead by Leslie Monica of Style Le Monde and she did an amazing job. She even went above and beyond to make sure Martha looked good at all times even coming with us later on for the couples portrait session. I would highly recommend her services, well done Leslie!

Meanwhile back with Martha the dress was finally on!

So both the Bride and the Groom are now ready and the tradition with this type of wedding (Coptic Orothodox) is they come together before the ceremony begins and they stay together for the rest of the day. However first we want to capture his first look at the bride…..

There was still a lot of time before we travelled to Stevenage’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral and I also found out later that day it is going to rain and stay wet for the rest of the day. Immediate family had now started to arrive and so we started the formal portraits early.
