Congrats to the happy couple and good luck for the New Year! | Parklands Quendon Hall
Hello and welcome to another wedding post. The first of 2020. I love starting the year off with a winter wedding.
I was asked to look after Joel & Leannes wedding day at two locations for their post New Years Day ceremony and celebration. They really wanted to start the new year and the new decade together with close friends and family to finish the holidays on a high.
Their wedding ceremony was held at St Marys Church in Churchgate Street, Old Harlow. Joels father being a vicar from another parish had arranged to marry his own son here with the Churchs permission. A rare extra gift for any son, to have his own family very much part of the core of the wedding day.
Afterwards the wedding party went to the prestigious Parklands Quendon Hall for their chosen wedding venue. Once we were all assembled we went round and captured where possible (bit of a rainy day) all the best area’sfor their wedding portraits.

As you can see above every now and then unexpected guests turn up to investigate!
Next I thought I would show you the wedding dresse first reveal. Everyones wedding is different and sometimes its important for the Brides to only reveal their dress until the last moment possible.
Now we are moving on into the wedding ceremonies at various venues. A mixture of church and hotel registry moments.
The wedding ceremony and moments are the most important to capture and cornerstone to the whole wedding day. But our favourite part of the day are the wedding portraits.
We love to take a moment and try different styles of photography to draw out something interesting and add something special to any clients wedding collection. Take a look below at a few of this years portraits.
At any wedding you always have groupshots so below are a few that caught our eye.
To now finish up this post and this years wedding photography we have some of our fun party images from the wedding receptions. We like to play with our photography and get more creative here, take a look!
This concludes our wedding photography highlights, lets see what 2021 brings! Our first wedding is already booked for New Years Day!
Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.

Hello everyone and welcome to another wedding post of our work. The four star Ettington Park Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon is a very sought after wedding venue. Ettington will appeal to anyone planning their perfect vintage wedding in the UK. Jolene & Joseph from Santa Barbara, California fell in love with this wedding venue after a long long search.
The building has towering turrets, colourful brickwork and classic arched windows. The grandeur of this Neo-Gothic mansion has unforgettable architecture that will really enhance your wedding day experience.
The happy couple spent a long time in planning their special day. They really wanted a castle ceremony but with the luxury of a hotel.
The wedding ceremony was planned to take place in the ruined church on the hotel grounds, so after capturing some images of the architecture I joined the Bride and Groom who were getting prepared in their rooms.
The Groomsmen did not take long to get ready. I left Stuart my second photographer with them and met with Team Bride!
With the last stages completed it was time to fit into the dress. She can finally see how everything has come together after 4 hours preparing.

Just a short post this week covering the highlights of John & Stella’s wedding day. They started at the Moot House in Harlow for a quick registry ceremony as they had something far more important afterwards..the parties!
They soon went on to their private house for an afternoon drink and chat until they were ready for the evening. In the evening the main reception was being held at Flames restaurant in N12.
Here she comes! Grooms first look!
Before we went on to the afternoon reception we stopped at the Moorhen in Harlow for a quick portrait session.
After the ceremony we created some private portraits and then moved outside to the church and park. The weather lately had been pretty bad but not today!
After our walk through we stopped at the little wooden bridge for some last portraits. Although it was a small wedding they still had a great experience with me. They have come away with some fun memories!
Congrats to Katy & Barny 2018!

But wait! there is a little bit more! Just for fun we did a couple more images on the way back on a different route before departing.
When I first met them and discussed their day with them I could tell how excited they were. Emma and Scott are a charming couple and had a lot of idea’s being juggled for their one special day. I was honoured to be chosen to capture it all for them.
Not everyone likes to have pre-bridal photography and I always keep this as an option. After a lot of planning as to see if it is possible we decided to go ahead and capture that little bit extra of the day.
Next stop is the church itself as I left Gemma for her final prep moments and joined Scott and the guys as the guests arrive.
Its time for the ceremony to begin, as you can see above the bride is trying to get them to catch up!
Emma & Scott are big photography fans, they both love the camera and they did not disappoint! We did our first portrait session in the hire car from Crown Cars on arrival at the Harlow FC.
After some food the Bride & Groom wanted to do another portrait session and after some “persuading” to the football club they allowed us onto the pitch. They almost said NO! and I was prepared to drive them quickly to my backup spot but it all turned out ok in the end. I thought that this was good for Scott too as he is a big football fan.
An old tradition sometimes remembered, after cutting the cake you feed your treasured guests 🙂
And sometimes squish it on their faces too…why not 😉
It gets a bit messier from here on…

Malcesine Castle Wedding Photographer – Lee & Laura got married! After a short engagement, a new house and a dog they have now tied the knot at Lake Garda, Italy in Malcesine Castle. Malcesine is located on the narrow strip of Lake Garda on its eastern side. Scaliger castle itself was once a commune but the town and castle is one of the most attractive tourist spots. Besides the beauty of the area and surrounding mountains the town itself has a photographic spot on every corner.
If you’re a food and wine lover there are more places to eat than I could count on my walks. Being slightly in the north of Italy there is a mixture between Italian and Austrian cuisine. On one night I had pizza with a hugo to wash it down and the next night a Bavarian beer with pommes frites and bratwurst. By the way a hugo is all my friends now drink after this trip out.
